Chapter 639 - 637 How much was the price to pay
As the group of women pondered at Rex's finger. They all decided to see what the outcome was for that flame.
"So, what memory did we have to forget?" War God asked.
Rex knew that the answer to this was truly heartbreaking but was truthful in his words.
"We may know of sexual activities and their scents. When the smell is so terrible because so much of it is in the air, it caused us to see things and smell horrid smells that should not exist. When we entered the area after having sex, we encountered such horrible smells that once we saw the after affects of the smell not leaving.
That caused such a terrible memory inside of our subconscious that it needed to be erased. While you had to have your memory erased, I could not have mine erased. That is due to me being a Demon King."
The words being a Demon King could not have his memory erased caused a heartbreaking moment in each of the women. Now they wanted to comfort him to the most that they could.
"I did receive a blessing though. I was able to have my memory altered by the flame so that memory does not affect me in the long run. I can say that I do not want you to have that memory War God."
Smiles of blessings flowed through the women. Even a small thing like that could be better than not knowing what truly happened. Although, War God could vaguely remember talking about it. The memory was still blank for her and everything there erased.
Georgiana and Zahida proud that they do not have to deal with the after affects of that memory any longer was a good sign of recovery for the women.
