Chapter 619 - 617 How to make a man
Rex was completely upset that his plan of changing the law to material sacrifice was in vain. Has he thought he and War God continued their journey to find the other Maintainers. The trip now was different.
It was a joy to be traveling before and the experience was overwhelming. Now it was a dull trip full of nothing. War God did not try to make Rex happy nor did she try to berate him on his decision.
She would allow him to do him. Seeing new creatures was still amazing to her. Rex did not seem to notice the beauty around them. After almost two weeks of traveling, she finally decided to ask him a single question.
"Master Rex, do you know that we are walking in a circle now?"
Of course she knew that after the first week. She did not know if it was intentionally or he really did not want to advance any further.
"Huh?" Rex replied.
He finally had to respond to something and he was not sure what it was.
"We need to camp here for two days. You are mentally exhausted."
Rex took it upon himself to try and make camp. War God stomped her foot and made camp herself.
She was tired of a fairly decent camp only getting upgraded as they continued to move from camp to camp. So she wanted something plain and simple.
With three logs, a bunch of leaves, a few rocks, some firewood, and a sassy mood, War God made a plain campsite that could be hidden from normal eyes unless one traveled in front of it.
