Chapter 589 - 587 Time to leave for the next Maintainer
A week went by and the trio finally felt the smell go down. This gave Rex a question.
"How can I tell that the smell went down?" He asked.
"Honestly, it is because we got attuned to the high amount in close proximity." Georgiana spoke first.
That did make sense to Rex. Human bodies could do weird things in weird situations.
"Not only that, after being hit with the high level dose. We both became sensitive to that high level. When it went down, we both could naturally feel the dose going down." Zahida said.
This too made sense to Rex. Even though they had both been highly hit with the smells. They naturally felt the fear of the high level. By it going down, their bodies too would naturally become less fearful.
"Well, it seems like it is time to leave for the next Maintainer then. Well, anyone have any ideas about the long road ahead of us?" Rex asked.
"Well, I can permit the lovely lady to join! Also, make sure to shove your meaty vein deep within her as well. Some animals will protect you if you do so. Since by law we too cannot leave without special permission by the others and cannot get it to justify a visit." Zahida casually spoke.
Georgiana knew that Zahida was trying to be helpful. Something seemed more devious than help came from her though.
