Chapter 544 - 542 Improvement
Before Rex knew how long he had been in his position and using all three of the weapons. He began to stretch. When he heard a pop, he got tackled.
"ARE YOU HURT?!" Lilith was worried sick.
Even before the official pop, Lilith was already feeling the stress from Rex. She also wanted to make sure that no harm had come to him mentally.
Physical damage can be healed properly either with time or proper medicine. The hardest thing to overcome is mental trauma. Anything little thing can trigger that emotion to make one relive something horrible or do something horrible.
"I'm fine." Rex replied happily.
He was wanting to twist to be able to properly hug Rex. Lilith was not having it right now. She was worried that Rex had finally lost all of his intelligence when he jumped into the magma.
"What made you jump into this magma then?" She asked sternly.
Rex was stunned because she demanded the answer both verbally and through her eyes.
"To sacrifice oneself, one must be willing to jump or allow themselves to be caught. In order to survive, one must always think ahead of their opponent. I decided in order to allow both of us to live. That I was the one that needed to make the jump. It was truly not a bad experience but one that I do not wish to experience again." Rex told her.
