Chapter 281 - 280 A Bandit’s building
The group slowly hugged Rex. The fire in his eyes slowly died down. The fire was still there, but seeing his women trying to help him. He, too, joined the hug with everyone.
Once Rex was ready. The group slowly made their way back to camp. The people that Jubokko killed just became skulls that surrounded the base of the tree.
The tree slowly increased the width of its limbs and roots. This was because of the deaths that Judokko had.
Rex and Lilith shared the time she had left before returning to the Demon Realm. Rex was depressed to see her go. Iris and Liz both encouraged Rex to be happy. They were also depressed to see Lilith return.
Two carts had been built now by the Angelic Builders. Amber would wait outside the Labyrinth with her Firemane Horse. She would switch carts. The one that would go in was always undone and tied up first. She would tie her Firemane Horse up, and the cart with forty to fifty pieces of treant wood would be carried to various places around the area. The first thing the Angelic Builders did was build a bridge across the dangerous land. Once it was completed, they finished two more carts. Amber would drive three carts to where the buildings that Rex wanted a day. A total of ten carts would always exit the Labyrinth. The first or last cart would always go to the Builder Faction. If it was the first, the Builder Faction would unload the other carts until Amber would return.
This system continued for nearly a month. Rex usually just slept inside the Labyrinth with either Iris or Liz. Margaret always slept with Bella and Amber because Margaret usually either waited on Amber or did something else to pass the time each day. Iris and Liz did not have anything for her to do. Each day was lonely without anything to do.
As for Bella and the vampire maids, they would always take care of the campsite. Each one would rotate in cleaning up the leaves and sticks that would fall down during the night. While the other two would go get logs for the fire, and each of them became extremely close to each other.
During the month that Rex was inside the Labyrinth. Amber noticed an extra clearing being made. Only a couple of Angelic Builders were there at a time. She thought it was just a clearing for any extra logs to help with building.
That night, Amber asked Margaret to watch that spot. She honestly wanted to know what was going on.
