Chapter 98 - 98 Rex returns home
Waking up the next day, Rex felt better than he had in a while. Giving himself a good stretch, Rex looked over and saw Olivia sleeping next to him.
"She looks graceful like this." Rex spoke softly.
He began to rub her head slowly and steadily. Rex felt that it soothed his Soul to do so. He slowly moved his head to hers.
"Thank you for staying by my side." Rex whispered.
Olivia was awake while Rex spoke. Feeling her head being touched she woke her up immediately. Hearing Rex she knew that she could no longer leave his side. Although her heart was opening up to him. She did not want him to be completely chained to her.
She knew that if chains could hold an elephant in place, the elephant would eventually die. She did not want Rex to be like the elephant.
"I hope he forgives me." Olivia thought while Rex continued to rub her head.
Slowly the minutes came and Rex became hungry. Rex got up and went downstairs.
"He truly carries everything on his shoulders. He needs to leave the carrying to everyone else though." Olivia said.
She slowly got up and saw her hair was messy but decided it was worth it because Rex was the cause.
Heading downstairs herself, she saw Rex had gotten a plate for breakfast from Sachie. Sachie waved to her sister.
