Chapter 29 - 29 Entering the new Daily Routine
Even though the day was Monday, their group did not have school for the release of the new VR headset. What most people did not know was the storm that was about to hit with it.
"Rex, was there anything special that happened on the mountain?" Iris asked.
Even though everyone was downstairs. Rex's parents decided to order something from all the food apps that there are. Deciding that a good burger was on the menu. They ordered from 4 guys that started a burger joint.
"Hey Rex, you need to explain to your mom what happened during my breakthrough so she too can have one as well." Rex's father yelled throughout the downstairs.
Iris was a little upset that Rex's father yelled but knew that this was the usual thing that happened.
"Okay dad." Rex replied with a smile.
"Um Iris, can we have this talk later?" Rex pleaded.
"No. You need to explain what happened now." Margaret came up from behind.
"Not you too." Rex sighed.
Sensing that Rex did not want to talk about what happened. Violet came in and stopped Rex from saying anything.
Rex was pleased. He knew Violet had not always been 100% honest with them. Rex also knew that she did not like to hear saddening or horror stories.
