Chapter 17 - 17 Gaining favor
Upon seeing Rex's parents, both Margaret and Amber felt relieved. They now had the ability to calm down Liz and Iris while staying at Rex's house.
For the simple reason being they promised not to hurt anyone close to Rex. If anyone tried to harm Rex or the people closest to him. Well, their deaths were up to the two girls.
Knowing that Rex and the rest of the girls were shopping. Margaret and Amber both told them they were heading to the grocery store. Rex's parents decided to come along.
Margaret and Amber both smiled. They knew once Rex's parents saw how destructive the three girls were. They would instantly force Rex to marry all three of them.
What they did not know was that Rex already had a plan for when Margaret and Amber did not show up again. He was currently using it to the fullest.
While Margaret, Amber, and Rex's parents were heading to the grocery store. They passed by the gym and several men were talking about Rex. Margaret and Amber both heard the conversation clearly. Rex's parents both heard a few words and figured it was because of their son. That was where he usually would go to workout.
Though his workouts were not very good. It was the basics of getting it down and keeping him from danger. Rex's parents knew that Rex had been deadly cursed. What they did not know was that the talismans that Demon, Maximum, and Life giver all sent went directly to Rex's mother's womb. This makes Rex the living embodiment of greed. While he did want a lot growing up. He never could get out of certain situations and that mostly being the girls chasing him.
That greedy nature did want the girls but Rex himself did not. With the conflict between the two usually going on. Rex was always in trouble for some reason with the girls.
Stopping in front of the men. Margaret and Amber both looked at them. They were unafraid of what would happen. To them talking the way they would, it could cause national disasters.
