Chapter 8 - 8 Asking for a blessing and receiving multiple gifts
Seeing that Rex just needed clothing and weapons. Mira enjoyed having Rex close by. So she decided to continue talking to him to distract him from leaving so quickly.
"Rex, is there anything special you want from us? We blessed you without your consent even though it was for the better. I still want you to ask something from us."
Mera noticed what Mira was trying to do. She too did not want Rex to leave soon.
"Yes Rex. We still have our pride and what we can and will do. So please take that into consideration."
After hearing Mera, Rex sat down and began to think about what he should do.
His mind immediately wandered to the Oracle who lost his sight for any other woman. Rex knew he would never get his sight back permanently but seeing his daughters should be a top priority.
Thinking along those lines, Rex remembered that his daughters all got married the same week. In the same place just so that their father would not be called away during their ceremony.
Rex stood back up. His head hung low because he knew if he did not word this right. He would lose this chance forever.
"I want the main Oracle in the Mortal Realm to be able to see his descendants. I know personally he has five daughters and has barely been able to see them. In a year, they will get married. His sight was never able to see his daughters fully dressed properly for a man. That is the blessing that I want."
Mera and Mira both looked at each other. They understood where Rex was coming from. They also knew that he was truly a terrible person.
"Shall we tell you how terrible that man is?" Mera asked.
