Chapter 246: CH: 243 Transformed T Cells II

{Chapter: 243 Transformed T Cells II}

All heads turned toward the source of the voice. William's eyes had opened—burning with a fierce golden light that blazed like miniature suns. His once-dark pupils had turned completely golden, glowing with raw, otherworldly power. Then, with no warning, an invisible surge of telekinetic force exploded outward from his body, aimed directly at the three warriors.

"AAAGH—!" they screamed in unison as the force smashed into them like a battering ram. Blood sprayed from their mouths as their bodies were flung backward. But they didn't land. Mid-air, they exploded—reduced to clouds of blood and chunks of flesh that rained down in a gory spectacle.

William stood up slowly, as if rising from a mere nap. His body radiated power, golden light surging beneath his skin like veins of liquid fire. He turned his gaze toward Odin and offered a smile that was both calm and defiant.

"Sorry to disappoint you, old man," he said. "But it looks like I'm not quite dead yet."

Odin took a step forward, his regal composure momentarily faltering as disbelief flashed across his face. "Impossible... You should've been torn apart by the power of the Glossary of Flow Pill. That amount of special divine energy should've obliterated you."

He wasn't exaggerating. Odin knew better than anyone the destructive force contained in that legendary pill. Back in his great-grandfather's time, a decorated Asgardian general had been granted the same pill as a reward for exceptional service. That general had burst into pieces mere seconds after ingesting it. And yet this mortal—this human—had not only survived but now seemed stronger than ever.

"I'm built differently," William replied coolly. "My body hosts two unique types of cells. Together, they raise my physical durability to about nine times the normal limit of any human being. That pill? It didn't destroy me. It transformed me."

Thor, who had been watching silently until now, snarled in frustration. "Enough with the theatrics!"
