Peggy managed a faint smile. "Compared to your world, we've been a bit lucky, haven't we? At least our enemies weren't quite so... infectious."
Crosshairs, who had been listening intently, broke the silence. "So in the end, the boss went toe-to-toe with a zombie king and ended up in a coma for more than two years? That's insane. I didn't think anyone could outmatch Lockdown, but this zombie king sounds like a real monster."

Crosshairs put on a mock expression of betrayal. "Boss, you're really something else. Using me to entertain your daughter—how shameless can you get?"
