{Chapter: 166 Good Daughter}
Alice and Ada instinctively raised their guns at the sudden intruder. Their fingers tightened on the triggers, ready to fire. However, Alice's expression shifted the moment she recognized the figure before her. Her sharp eyes narrowed as she spoke.
"William... Are you a clone or the real deal?"
"Clone? I have a clone?" William arched a brow, then smirked mischievously. "Actually, I just arrived here and happened to notice some activity. I decided to check it out, and, well, imagine my surprise when I found you. Seems like fate, doesn't it?"
Before Alice could respond, a small figure rushed forward and wrapped herself around William's leg.
"Dad!" Becky cried out, clinging to him tightly. "I'm so glad you're safe."
William froze, staring down at the little girl with wide eyes. "Dad?" His voice was filled with disbelief. "Since when did I have a daughter?"
Alice and Ada exchanged glances before lowering their weapons slightly.
"It seems like he's the real William," Alice muttered.
Becky gazed up at William, her expression full of confusion. "Dad, don't you recognize me?"
William's lips curled into an enigmatic smile as something seemed to click in his mind. "Becky, huh? I think I understand now. There really is a clone of me running around here. But of course, Becky, I know you. How could I not? You're my precious daughter."
