Chapter 136: CH: 135 Resist

{Chapter: 135 Resist}

Alice felt a sharp pain below. Her body trembled slightly as she struggled to regain her composure. After a few moments, she gritted her teeth and finally managed to push William off her, sending him flying backward. As she pulled away from the heat of his body, she felt him slowly slide out of her, his still strong rigid length withdrawing from her wet core with an audible exhale.

She staggered to her feet, her legs weak and unsteady. Her gaze swept over the chaotic room—clothes, fluids, and overturned furniture, broken and crack walls lay scattered everywhere. The air was thick with heat, and sex and lingering tension. A complex storm of emotions flickered in her eyes as she tried to process everything that had just transpired.

The replica Alice, standing nearby, calmly picked up a dress and handed it to her. Alice took it and quickly covered her exposed body, concealing her figure from prying eyes. She moved stiffly, still feeling the residual ache from their encounter.

"Alice, you have to kill him," the replica urged, her voice eerily calm yet insistent. "Now is the perfect opportunity. He hasn't woken up yet."

Alice took a deep breath, her fingers tightening around the fabric of her dress. She then watched as the replica bent down and picked up a knife from the floor, extending it toward her.

"I know," Alice murmured, her voice laced with suppressed emotion. She took the knife, steeling herself against the pain that still lingered between her legs. Slowly, she stepped toward William's unconscious form, her bare feet padding against the cold floor.

Her eyes darkened with resentment as she loomed over him. "William," she whispered, her grip tightening on the knife. "I never expected it to be today, but now... this is your end."

With a sudden, decisive motion, she slashed the knife toward his face. The blade sliced through the air, its sharp edge gleaming in the dim light. Yet, at the very last moment—just a mere fraction of a millimeter before making contact—her hands trembled violently, and she stopped. Her breathing grew erratic, and beads of sweat trickled down her temple.

"Bastard!" Alice hissed, her expression filled with turmoil. She clenched her jaw, her entire body resisting the final act of taking his life. Her fingers tightened around the hilt, and she lifted the knife once more, raising it high above her head.

With a forceful cry, she brought it down again. But as soon as the tip of the blade touched William's skin, she hesitated once more. Her arms quivered, betraying her inner conflict. Seconds felt like an eternity before she let out a shaky breath and threw the knife aside, the weapon clattering loudly against the floor.
