Chapter 100: CH: 100 The Feat of Self-Denial And Salvation

[Chapter: 100 The Feat of Self-Denial And Salvation]

As the vehicle jostled over the uneven terrain, William's face shifted, and his lips brushed against Jill's cheek. The moment was fleeting, yet he couldn't ignore the soft elasticity of her skin. A mischievous glint flickered in his eyes, betraying the hint of wickedness brewing within. With deliberate playfulness, his tongue darted out, grazing her cheek before he "accidentally" pressed a kiss against it, savoring the brief, forbidden contact.

Jill stiffened. "William, do you know how to write the dead words?" Jill pushed William hard and held the gun against William's head.

William smiled. "The dead, the English are dead. I'm right, Jill?"

"Do you think I dare not kill you?" Jill said coldly.

"Dare, of course, you dare, but Jill, you are so kind. Will you kill me? No, you won't do that." William shook his head.

"I will." Jill suddenly pulled the trigger.

No bullets were fired because Jill's guns were empty.

Jill looked at William's smiling expression. For a while, she felt weak. This guy's psychological quality was so good that he didn't get scared at all. She wanted to despise him severely.

"Jill, I was scared to death just now. I thought you really wanted to kill me." William patted his heart with his hands.

Jill looked at William in exasperation and gritted her teeth. "You guy."
