William walked slowly. "I only have ten days. It seems if I want to get the Tesseract, I need to hurry up and put my plan into action."
"You bastards, you lost to some idiot holding a shield!" Schmidt exclaimed angrily.
"What happened? Why are you so angry?" William asked after entering Schmidt's office, where Schmidt was screaming on the phone.
Seeing William, Schmidt calmed his anger. "Several more of our arsenals were destroyed by that Captain America, and now our weapon production can't keep up with the demand. Hitler's on one side, and the British, French, and the United States Army on the other side are jointly trying to deal with us."
William smiled a little. It seemed that Hydra was in a bad situation, and maybe he could use this to his advantage. "Sir Schmidt, don't be impatient. The Hydra legion will stand at the top of this planet, and no one can stop that."
"The only person I can count on now is you, William. The rest are just... don't let me down," Schmidt said, his eyes showing trust.
"Rest assured, I will prove that I'm worthy of the trust you put in me." William nodded, while thinking, 'Hehehe, I will let you see that you shouldn't have trusted people so easily. Let it be a life lesson for you.'
William walked out. Since now there were no more people near Schmidt, there was no way for him to continue researching the weapons. Zola was ambushed by Captain Clown when he went to an arsenal.
Zola has been captured. According to Zola's greed for life and fear of death, he would definitely tell the location of Hydra's headquarters to the allies.
"And I just need to reap the benefits at the last moment," William smiled a little.
