As expected, Ganshu took a seat in the magic church's reception room, dismissing everyone except for me and casually pulling out a cigarette that looked like a cigar from his coat pocket.
He then naturally trimmed the end of the cigarette, but before lighting it, he glanced at me as if waiting for my reaction.

Showing some reluctance, he set the cigarette down, checked the magic around him, and began speaking.
"Last time, through Erginus, the gods learned of the Pope's intentions. He’s dreaming of some foolish plan to bring the era of myth back to this world."
"He's a crazy pervert. I can’t even begin to understand it with my head."
"From that event, I gathered the opinions of several gods. If that madness is genuine, our existence will be threatened as well."
The Pope's plan, in conclusion, was to erase the existence of all gods.
Any collateral damage that may occur in the process was considered inconsequential.
