At times, being overly gloriously virtuous seems hypocritical. True high-ranking individuals indeed possess their own means, and their benevolence is on a totally different dimension than ordinary people’s benevolence, merely interpreted by later generations as respect for the venerates.

Ju Mang, at times, while comparing the records within the Witch Deity Teaching to what is circulated outside, finds the differences, and doesn’t quite understand why people are like that.

The human race, in some respects, is a realistic being. They don’t hold many illusions about the high ranks, don’t require the high ranks to be perfect, just need them to have enough capability and bring enough benefits.
