The Five Elements are the foundational laws of the world’s construction. Many undertake cultivation of the Way of the Five Elements, yet they are anything but ordinary. When the true cultivation of each path reaches its limit, each becomes an extremely powerful existence, and the convergence of all Five Elements is even more terrifying.

During the War of Sealing Gods, the Peacock King of the Demon Race, innate master of the Five Elements, wielded the Five Elements Divine Light with unmatched prowess. Even the Longevity Taoist Monarch had to exert considerable effort to break through this Five Elements Divine Light.

The origin of the Five Elements Formation is long lost to time. Regardless of the Taoist School, Buddhism School, Demonic Cult, Confucianism, etc., all hold control over this Five Elements Array, from which countless other arrays have been derived.

However, the true peak demonstration of the Five Elements Formation occurred in World Second Rate One, when the Five Virtues True Monarch joined forces to counterattack a True Immortal Great Emperor with supreme might.

Of course, some believe that was not the pinnacle since at that time, the Fire Virtue Star Lord only lent a portion of his power and did not truly strike with the might of a True Immortal.

Now, in today’s Heavenly Court, the only ones suited to lay down the Five Elements Formation are the Five Virtue Star Lords and the Five Directions Five Old Lords, these ten individuals.

However, since the Fire Virtue Star Lord’s ascension to Taoist Monarch, not only does he no longer need to rely on the formation’s power, but also because of the imbalance in the Five Virtue Star Lords’ strengths, the rotation of the Five Elements Formation cannot be executed to its peak.

Thus, the only ones who can truly bring the Five Elements Formation to its extreme are the Five Old Lords. Once, during world expansion, these Five Old Lords, though merely in the Third Heaven realm of True Immortal, managed to reverse attack a True Immortal Fifth Heaven powerhouse using the Five Elements Formation, suppressing and obliterating them.

Though since all five stepped into the Sixth Heaven of True Immortal, the Five Elements Formation has never truly manifested again. Yet its terrifying nature remains memorable, and some Taoist Monarchs exaggerate that if the Five Elements Formation were brought to its peak by the current five True Immortal Sixth Heaven Five Old Lords, it could completely contend with a Taoist Monarch in battle.

Although such a statement is deemed exaggerated, a deceptive glorification, it nevertheless indirectly acknowledges the Five Elements Formation’s fearsome and terrifying nature.
