The Sims: I Open the Immortal Path for All Beings

Chapter 1814 - 1760– - 1761

The Five Immortal Paths of Heaven, Earth, Man, God, and Ghost, were elucidated by the Longevity Daoist Pei Xuanjing as the path to certify oneself as a True Immortal.

It can be said that after Pei Xuanjing delineated the Five Immortal Paths, he became the strongest in the world. Numerous other powerful beings followed this path to gain strength, and it undoubtedly became the Great Tao, unquestionably orthodox within the worldly cultivation systems.

Even when the Heavenly Court later discovered innumerable worlds and various cultivation systems emerged, these systems were integrated into these five paths, serving as vital provisions for these Five Immortal Paths.

If any cultivation method failed to integrate into the Five Immortal Paths, it was considered as a side sect and inherently inferior, not capable of challenging the orthodox position.

Even some seemingly parallel paths to certifying as an Immortal, like refining Immortal Artifacts into one with the Longevity method, were not considered orthodox and were deemed side sects, not part included in the Righteous Path.

For such alleged side sects to overthrow the orthodox position bestowed upon the Five Immortal Paths, it was not only a challenge to the cultivation system but also to the many True Immortals and Taoist Monarchs who certified their Tao through these paths.

Yet, the Five Immortal Paths—Heaven, Earth, Man, God, and Ghost—remain undisputedly orthodox. As millennia have passed, countless powerhouses have certified their Tao through these paths, cementing their unshakable orthodox status.

The Heavenly Immortal Path cultivates laws, the Immortal holds divine authority, the Human Immortal cultivates themselves, the Earth Immortal opens worlds, and the Ghost Immortal refines the Yang God.

This is a concise description of the Five Immortal Paths, indicating the route forward after certifying oneself as a True Immortal.

Among the Five Immortals, the Immortal Path is the hardest yet simplest.

The challenge of the Immortal Path does not lie in cultivation, but in acquiring a divine position. Divine positions are limited, as are authorities. Even if a noble divine position cannot acquire authority in the Heavenly Court, the innate heavenly authority of that divine position is indispensable.

Immortals are also considered Gods, and as such, they uphold the Tao on behalf of the Heavens, shepherding all living beings. Only the heavenly authority can coalesce into a divine position; without authority, a divine position is no divine position at all.
