Cultivation requires talent, but what exactly is talent?
In fact, the talent for cultivation is one’s affinity with the Dao Origin, the imperceptible portion of the Dao Origin one receives the moment they arrive in the world.
No matter how we classify things like Spiritual Body, Taoist Body, or Spiritual Root, it’s essentially one’s portion of the Dao Origin, akin to the innate breath one is born with.
Even though the initial Dao Origin is imperceptible, as they continue to grow and cultivate, they will begin to actively reject certain Daos and become more attuned to others, increasing the portion of the Dao Origin they cultivate.
These countless beings, all things under the heavens, even the tiniest part, when combined, form an incredibly formidable number.
Therefore, in a certain sense, theoretically speaking, even a Taoist Monarch cannot occupy 100% of the Dao Origin portion. Once they reach a certain extent, even a Taoist Monarch will face a limit and be unable to continue cultivating.
According to the current understanding of cultivation, stepping into the realm of a True Immortal, from a certain perspective, means mastering one ten-thousandth of one’s cultivating Dao Origin portion.
Of course, this is just a foundation and not the only condition. If cultivating multiple Daos, one might master even less, as the requirements to become a True Immortal are not high, and the path is not fixed, offering opportunities for change.
Indeed, even if a True Immortal occupies one ten-thousandth of the Daoist Rules’ Origin portion, this largely stems from their understanding of the Laws and not Authority, unless they become a True Immortal by fully relying on the Divine Position, following the Immortal Path.
In short, this invisibly indicates the great disparity between each layer of the True Immortal realm, thoroughly severing the ideas of Qingling Primordial Lord and others from seizing others’ portions.
