Chapter 1810 - 1756 - 1757 Origin Share
If a man has no foresight, he will have immediate worries.
Every true immortal and Taoist monarch has grown up stepping over the corpses of countless opponents.
Such beings may have allies and mentors, but at the deepest part of their hearts, they trust only themselves, or rather, their own powerful strength.
No strong person, or anyone for that matter, is willing to place their safety in the hands of others; it is a childish and laughable idea.
This is especially true for Taoist monarchs!
For those within the Realm of a Taoist monarch, a true path is only the foundation, possessing a tenth of the Great Tao as a mere base. Every Taoist monarch with a sense of crisis seeks to expand their authority, study the Laws, and grasp more shares of the Dao Origin. This is the wisest approach.
Ideally, a Dao Origin can accommodate ten Taoist monarchs, yet the stronger the Taoist monarch, the more Dao Origin shares they occupy, leaving fewer shares for future Taoist monarchs, which reduces the possibility for others to attain the Realm through this path.
First step ahead, every step ahead.
This applies to true immortals and even more so to Taoist monarchs, with the conditions and competition for becoming a Taoist monarch being particularly harsh and fierce.
For true immortals, a second-rate authority is sufficient, but for Taoist monarchs, it is unknown whether such authority is sufficient, as none have attempted it with second-rate authority. Thus, all current Taoist monarchs directly wield shares of the Dao Origin.
