But this force, with five True Immortals at its helm, certainly could be considered dominant in the entirety of Divine Land World.

After all, over many years, even with sufficient resources, nurturing True Immortals is not so straightforward. Except for those forces that had advanced to Immortal Sect status even before the Enthroning Gods event, no other force had more than ten True Immortals.

Now, amongst the many immortal sects, most have just one or two, maybe three True Immortals, for cultivating a True Immortal demands a massive amount of resources.

And cultivating a True Immortal doesn’t just mean helping a cultivator ascend to True Immortal - the resources needed for a True Immortal’s cultivation afterward are even more colossal, as is fabricating Immortal Artifacts. This is a voluntary process, and resources shouldn’t just stop being provided after promotion.

If that were the case, then the power of such newly-promoted True Immortals would undoubtedly be the weakest. So, for an immortal sect, advancing someone to True Immortal status also means being able to support them.

Currently, the number of True Immortals an immortal sect can hold is limited by the resources they can provide for their upkeep. An excess number without adequate resources can pose a significant problem for any sect.

Of course, this is a potential issue for most immortal sects, but not for the Shenxiao Sect.

With the Longevity Taoist Monarch at its heart, Shenxiao Sect’s resources are vast compared to other forces, yet it is the only top immortal sect with fewer than ten True Immortals.

Because ultimately, Shenxiao Sect’s overall depth still falls short of the established top immortal sects. Not even the formidable Longevity Taoist Monarch alone can change this, and their talent reserves are lacking.
