Following increased research and understanding of the human race, the King of Fire Country discovered that although no gods had ever been born among the humans, there were many demigods and powerful families. Their racial Qi Luck was vast and profound, nearly rivaling that of certain God Clans.

Thus, a plan revolving around the human race as a means to break through to the Gods’ Realm began to unfold.

Adopting Sui as his son was not a chance event for the King of Fire Country; it was a deliberate choice, the result of meticulous selection. Sui was intended to be a pivotal role in advancing the King’s plan.

Indeed, Sui fulfilled his purpose just as the King had hoped, and even exceeded his expectations, saving the King untold resources.

With everything ready but the east wind, all preparations were in place, save for the final ultimate leap.

Having made all preparations, the King of Fire Country climbed to the altar he had constructed, bringing Sui along. Without hesitation, he began to release his power. The aura around him surged, growing stronger, invoking changes in the heavenly bodies.

As the aura around him transformed, the Fire God within the Divine Court awoke from slumber, for he had caught the scent of food.

To the Fire God, these descendants served as his sustenance, his cultivated Spiritual Materials, waiting to be harvested once they matured to nourish his ascent.

Gazing through the boundless sky, the Fire God seemed to see the King of Fire Country upon the altar in Fire Country. To the Fire God, the demigod before him was the most delectable food between heaven and earth.

The struggles and efforts made by his food were all within the Fire God’s view, yet he paid them no mind, completely unconcerned.

Indeed, there had been instances where his prey escaped his grasp, but those were mere accidents and exceptions. Most had failed, their efforts and struggles futile.

To the Fire God, the food’s struggle and resistance were not a concern but rather a source of amusement, adding to his zeal for consumption.
