And then there was Zhu Houji, the former lord of the Great Ming Divine Dynasty, who now, as the Central Jade Emperor of Heaven, has Tao-certified as a True Immortal, pressuring all sides, and has even invited the Ancestor Celestial Master of Dragon and Tiger Mountain to take a position in the Heavenly Court, offering him the Heavenly Master Divine Position, causing many strong beings to be lost in wild and fanciful thoughts.

The Da Xue Country Lord perfected his Holy Spirit body and Tao-certified to the Human Immortal Path, becoming the second True Immortal of the Human Immortal Path after the Shenxiao True Monarch, with Qi Yun added and strength terrifyingly profound and immeasurable.

Competing with the Da Xue Country Lord, the Great River Country Lord also nearly Tao-certified at the same time, achieving duality in one, with both his True Body and Honghu Dharma Body breaking through simultaneously, possessing such extensive foundations that it was unimaginable to others.

There were also the Gou Chen Sword Master of the Sword Sect, Western Emperor Gouchen, North Pole Emperor Ziwei, and Eastern Emperor Qinghua, who, following the ways of Hou Tu and taking up the mantle of territorial spirits, consecutively Tao-certified; these strong ones Tao-certified themselves as True Immortals and occupied Six Imperial Honorable Positions, their strength terrifying, far surpassing ordinary True Immortals.

Within the Demonic Way, there was a strong one who cultivated the Art of Killing and, after the War of Sealing Gods, perfected himself, took the position of Seven Kills, and Tao-certified as a True Immortal, becoming the Seven Kills Star Lord.

There were also the returning Innate Gods and Demons, the once god of fate, now Star Lord Siming. The former Candle Dragon Demon God, now Zhu Jiuyin, the Witch God, and so on.

Without True Immortal obstructions, and with Qi Yun added, these strong beings who had been lying low, thoroughly unleashed their brilliance during these 500 years, one after another overcoming their tribulations and Tao-certifying as True Immortal bodies.

Of course, there were successes, but equally there were failures.

True Immortal Tribulations are most perilous due to the Obstruction Tribulation, yet that does not mean that the Thunder Tribulation of Heaven and Earth can be easily transcended.

Many strong beings underestimated the tribulations and forcibly induced the Immortal Dao tribulations. However, due to insufficient foundations, they failed the tribulation and nearly perished under the Thunder Tribulation of Heaven and Earth.

If not for the compassion of the Emperor of the South Pole Eternal Life, who took into account their meritorious deeds during the War of Sealing Gods and lent a helping hand, these failures would have long perished and vanished from the Tao.
