Even the emergence of True Immortal Monster Gods and the legitimization of the Demon Emperor, who truly united all the Demon Race, could not erase the traces of the past.

In the end, there just wasn’t enough time. Compared to the loose alliance that was the Demon Race, the time under the real control of the Demon Emperor was too short. All demons recognized their tribal identities more than anything, and their unity stemmed from foreseeing the benefits that would come from vanquishing the human race.

The four trapped True Immortal Monster Gods—the Rat Monster God, the Yin Rabbit God, the Elephant Monster God, and the Tuo Dragon Demon God—knew in their hearts that the decisions of these True Immortal Monster Gods were not wrong.
