Chapter 993 - Six Imperials
Chapter 993: 942-943 Six Imperials
Chapter 993: 942-943 Six Imperials
The Six Imperials refer to: Emperor Jade, Gou Chen Supreme Emperor, Emperor Ziwei of the North Pole in Central Heaven, Emperor Qinghua of the Eastern Pole, Emperor of the South Pole Eternal Life, and the Ruler of Earthly Spirits who follows Heaven’s Law and Earth’s Wisdom.
Among them, the most revered Divine Position should be that of the Heavenly Court Master, the Majestic Jade Emperor of the Golden Tower of the Vast Heavens, also known as the Central Jade Emperor, the leader of the Six Imperials.
“The other Emperors have statuses slightly below the Jade Emperor, but they can divide a part of the Jade Emperor’s authority,” Pei Xuanjing’s eyes flashed with a Golden Vajra sparkle.
The Emperor Ziwei of the North Pole in Central Heaven assists the Jade Emperor in controlling the longitude and latitude of Heaven and Earth, the sun, moon, and stars, the weather of the four seasons; the Emperor of the South Pole Eternal Life assists the Jade Emperor in overseeing longevity and fortune in the Mortal Realm.
The Gou Chen Supreme Emperor assists the Jade Emperor in governing the Three Talents of heaven, earth, and humanity, and presides over military affairs in the Mortal Realm; Emperor Qinghua of the Eastern Pole administers the affairs of Gods and spirits in the Nine Netherworld; the Ruler of Earthly Spirits who follows Heaven’s Law and Earth’s Wisdom assists the Jade Emperor in overseeing Yin Yang Reproduction, the growth of all things, and the natural splendor of earth and rivers.
As such, the Jade Emperor’s authority would not be excessively concentrated, and it could perfectly achieve Pei Xuanjing’s intent of a Divine Dynasty where the Heaven mandates without intervention and officials fill the Court in abundance.
“Afterwards, by further subdividing these Emperors’ authority, according to different abilities, forming a system of mutual governance and checks and balances, where you contain me and I contain you, can we ensure the best balance of the situation,” Pei Xuanjing pondered in his heart.
To differentiate the authority of the Jade Emperor with five Emperors, out not to let the other five Emperors’ control of authority threaten the Jade Emperor’s position, a weak leader and strong followers would inevitably also have large disadvantages.
