Even in speaking of this matter directly, Universal Light Honored One began with words of praise, and seeing that Pei Xuanjing remained smiling and noncommittal, he continued, “The old monk has heard that the True Monarch has been visiting various True Immortals today, as if trying to capitalize on this opportunity to plan a grand chance for our human race. We have come today to ask if there is any need for the assistance of our Buddhism School.”
