Chapter 246: Blood
"Miss Kentwood!" Amelia was relieved to find that Sean had finally arrived, and he pried Emmeline away from her in one quick motion, causing her to stumble into the cubicles.
She lost her balance and fell directly on the shards of broken ceramic, howling with pain.
"You bitch! You’re trying to make me lose my child!" Emmeline shrieked as she tottered back up, her knees scraped and bleeding with wounds.
Aiden hurriedly grabbed her before she could make another lunge for Amelia.
Blood. Suddenly Amelia knew she would get no better chance. She pulled out her phone and dialed for an ambulance, while Sean’s steady bulk kept the worst of Emmeline at bay. Aiden was also wrangling her, while she hissed and spitted vulgarities at him like an angry cat.
"You scumbag! Let go of me! Are you blinded by what’s between her legs to keep your eyes on the prize?! No wonder your mother despairs of you!"
"Don’t talk about my mother!" Aiden retorted hotly, his eyebrow twitching viciously as he dodged Emmeline’s claws. Emmeline shrieked, but she wasn’t going to give up anytime soon.
"Emmeline, should you be moving so much?" Amelia asked. "You wouldn’t want something to happen to the fetus, right?"
"Save your concern!" Emmeline raged, her once pristine hairdo was now as messy as a bird’s nest. "I will never lose my child―"
