"I am surprised you managed to convince him" Nami couldn’t help but speak this as she looked at yoriichi and Robin

As she is talking right now about none other than Usopp since in her opinion Usopp is really a big coward from what she has seen and making him do something dangerous is really a feat in itself

She couldn’t help but feel curious about how Yoriichi and Robin managed to convince Usopp to do this since to her, she doesn’t think Usopp would agree to do this on his own

Yesterday Nami wasn’t with them as at that time she was on a ship drawing the map of this island and she was already too late for them while all this was happening

Which is the reason she isn’t aware of events that happened while she was drawing, originally she didnt think it would take so much time for her to draw a map

She didnt even manage to notice how much time passed until she finished the map since she was already very lost in making it

Previously with the Arlong pirate group, she always drew her maps like it’s a chore after all those maps are for Arlong which is why she never gave

her 100% while drawing and wanted to finish those maps as fast as she could due to the fact that she knew the maps she was drawing were drawings gonna used for wrong purposes

But now it’s totally different as she is now drawing a map solely for her dream which is the reason she is giving her all and thats why she also lost track of time yesterday

"Well it seems he is not that spineless as we thought originally~" Robin said this as she told Nami the truth still Nami had a hard time believing it

And she can’t blame Nami since from the beginning he seems like a coward, so it’s hard to believe that a coward would be willing to take such a risk

"Hey hey even though it might be true but dont say that in front of that person", Usopp said this as he complained about what they were talking about and even though he knew what Nami was saying was nothing but him

But hearing in front of his face, still hurts him and what’s making it worse is that Robin’s comments didnt help him at all for mental damage is suffered

"Are you going?" Yoriichi asked this question to Usopp as he intended to know if Usopp was ready or not now as he was looking at him even though he still could feel fear in him but he could also tell he was determined

"Yeah...but make sure to keep your promise!!" Usopp said this as he said the last part with a somewhat loud voice to Yoriichi

He really makes up his mind but that doesn’t mean he is not scared especially when he knows that he can get killed for this

Which is the reason he for the last time reminds Yoriichi of a promise he made yesterday which is to protect him and he hopes that Yoriichi will protect him

"What promise?" Nami asked this as she was confused about it since she dont what Promise Yoriichid did with Usopp

"Well it’s a promise to protect him if anything dangerous happens" Robin replied to her as she explained it to Nami since it’s nothing serious that she needed to hide

"I see" Nami said in a low tone as she understood about this promise even though she preferred not to be involved in other matters especially in such dangerous ones

But since Yoriichi can destroy the whole Arlong in such a one-sided way that she believes no one can actually beat someone like Yoriichi

After all, Arlong is the strongest pirate group in the East Blue and if he can beat Arlong in such an one-sided way then there is no other danger for him

"T-then I will be going now" Usopp said this with a somewhat shuddering tone as he began to move even though he wanna act as usual but it’s difficult to do so when you know your life is in danger

"Wait" Yoriichi said this as Usopp instantly stopped walking as soon as he heard Yoriichi and turned around to see why he stopped him

But inwardly he really hoped that Yoriichi had taken pity on him and come up with a different plan which doesn’t include him being in danger

"Does something matter?" Usopp asked this with hope shining in his eyes as he hoped that Yoriichi would tell him the things he wanna hear

"Take this" Yoriichi replied as he took out the letter from his pocket and gave it to Usopp as this letter is basically useless in their hands

Which is the reason he gave it to Usopp as he hoped that this would serve as Evidence on what Usopp would tell her

Rather than giving her this by themselves it will have value if Usopp gives it to her who has her trust even then it’s not gonna be an issue considering the fact that Butler is taking care of her from the moment she became sick

Even though it was all for disguise but that doesn’t change the fact that in Kaya’s eyes, her butler is caring for her which is why yoriichi feared that she might not believe him but yoriichi won’t know for certain unless Usopp do this

Usopp will be lying if he said he wasn’t disappointed since those aren’t the words that he wants to hear from Yoriichi but he can’t complain, especially when yoriichi is the one who is helping him without asking anything in return

"Okay" Usopp replied as he took the letter from Yoriichi and hand put it inside his pockets since he already knew the contents of the letter, he didn’t need to read it for a second time

Then he turned around again and started to move towards the mansion, while he couldn’t help but want the way to the mansion to become longer
