It is better to avoid being in a place like this which is dangerous for them as he also thinks that it is way too early for her to be crying
From what he could tell, this place didn't have any signs that anyone could tell whether her parent had killed or injured
Kaneki thinks that Rei belongs to a single-parent household from her tone and he could totally understand her behaviour right now since she hasn't lost her only family in this world

But there is something that confused him here and that is if her parent have already gone to a safe place then who killed these zombies
From the looks of it, he could easily tell that these are fresh kills means her parent did this which is unlikely unless her parent were professional killers or someone else did it before they got here
