Chapter 36: Elders
Rice was a lifeline to the Blooming Iron Sect, and knowing that someone was holding its key, they couldn’t just sit still.
The sect master nodded slowly at Elder Shanq’s words.
"Send someone to investigate and find out how this even happened and why the hell this one store is unaffected?" he demanded. "I also want an assembled team of elite disciples to visit the store."
Suddenly, one of the elders raised his hand.
"Elder Jin?" the sect master’s brows lowered. "Do you want to say something?"
"That’s right," Elder Jin agreed, his voice full of respect. "I have been in that shop once. I have heard our disciples speak about it and decided to visit by myself."
The air grew tense.
Every elder who listened to this conversation held their breath.
"The shop owner is a man with no qi or cultivation. The products he sells are overpriced garbage with no apparent value. As for how he still has rice to sell?
My guess is that he got lucky, but I am confident I can make him spill his beans."
Elder Jin spoke harshly.
