Chapter 1: Misfortune
"Stop peeing on my leg!"
Noa yelled at the stray dog as it peed on his leg, releasing a stinky liquid that soaked his shoes.
The dog ignored him for a moment before Noa moved his other leg to strike. He missed the target, but the animal scrambled out of the way.
'My luck,' he thought, and as the sharp scent of piss assaulted his nose, anger surged through his chest.
Today was the worst day of his life, with misfortune after misfortune following his day.
Not only did he lose his job, but he also found his fiancée in bed with another man. She didn't even look the slightest bit guilty.
If that wasn't enough, the man was the son of the boss who fired him for no reason.
Noa wasn't the guy to cry over his problems. But the punch he delivered into the asshole's face improved his mood.
However, the anger and sadness he felt didn't go away, especially when he had accumulated debt he knew he wouldn't be able to pay.
All for the marriage he was so excited about. All for his everlasting love to be betrayed.
'Was it because of the money? She hated the idea of living in a tiny apartment, but I thought she was happy with me.'
