"Now, bring me the money and prepare to drop me off at the academy," Xavier ordered Dominic without a hint of hesitation.
"Let me talk to the parents of the other three first. Although I agreed to your demand, I can’t say the same for them." He forced a smile at Xavier and continued, "But don’t worry, I will pay my part of 2.5 million for my son."
"Sure. I don’t care what you do and how you do it, as long as I get what I want. But..." Xavier placed his legs on the table and stretched himself. "Let me help you convince them."
"What?"
"Leonardo Kane. His father John Cane, a respected scientist, researcher, and a doctor. Who also helped you fake Mira’s report."
Dominic had already realized where this was going. He had already regretted underestimating Xavier, but now, Xavier kept surprising him again and again.
"What do you think will happen to John Kane, if I publish everything I have?" Xavier smirked as he glanced at Dominic. "Don’t you think his career is one the line? FOrget about his son, Leonardo, but he himself will be destroyed."
"You are right." Dominic nodded in response.
"Then comes Alexander Sterling, father of Ethan Sterling. He is a well-known businessman and also a respected ’philanthropist’, supposedly." Xavier quoted with his fingers. "We both know how he truly is and I don’t have to list everything he has done."
