Xavier leaned against the academy's courtyard wall, basking in the rare moment of peace after his exam and meeting with Oliver. The campus was silent with no one around since the first years were taking an exam in the exam hall. Xavier was in his own world—until she approached.
She moved like liquid sin, her uniform a deliberate mess of rebellion. The blazer hung loosely around her waist, revealing a tight white shirt that left little to imagination—no bra, just the faint outline of perky nipples pressing against the thin fabric. Her skirt was scandalously short, barely covering what needed to be covered, and her hair was dyed a vibrant pink, styled in loose waves that framed her face like a halo of mischief. Dark eyeliner, glossy lips, and a smirk that screamed trouble. She was the walking definition of a gyaru—all attitude, all seduction, and zero shame.
She plopped down beside him, her thigh brushing against his. "Hey," she purred, her voice dripping with false innocence. "How'd you do on the exam?"
Xavier glanced at her, unimpressed. "Good."
She grinned, shifting closer. "I'm Cindy. And I love bikes." Her fingers traced idle circles on her knee, her gaze locked onto him like a predator sizing up prey.
Xavier humored her, keeping his tone neutral. "Yeah? What kind?"
"Fast ones." She leaned in, her chest nearly spilling out of her shirt. "You know, the kind that makes your heart race."
Normally, Xavier would have stayed a hundred feet away from a girl like her, but this time, Xavier didn't flinch. He knew exactly who she was—Maximilian's girlfriend. The same girl who had laughed when Lucas and his crew had humiliated him. The same girl who had recorded everything when they'd beaten him bloody.
"But I don't know how to ride one." She kept talking, her fingers now brushing against his arm, her body pressing closer. "Have you ever taught girls how to ride?"
