Chapter 251: Unfortunate events
As they settled back into their seats, Remo took a deep breath, preparing to share his news. "Abby, there’s something I need to tell you. I’ve been working on something to help with our situation."
Abby looked at him curiously. "What is it?"
Remo leaned forward, his voice low and serious. "I’ve orchestrated a series of business failures for the companies under your uncle’s control. This will make the stakeholders angry and put pressure on him."
Abby’s eyes widened in surprise. "How did you manage that?"
Remo explained, his tone calm and methodical. "Your uncle’s businesses are vulnerable in several areas. I identified the weakest points—supply chain issues, customer satisfaction, and financial mismanagement. Then, I exploited those vulnerabilities.
"First, I arranged for key suppliers to delay shipments, causing production slowdowns and unmet deadlines. This created immediate tension with clients who rely on timely deliveries."
Abby nodded, impressed by the thoroughness. "That must have caused a lot of backlash."
"It did," Remo continued. "Next, I targeted their customer service. I hired people to lodge numerous complaints, both real and fabricated, about their products and services. This was amplified by negative reviews online, which damaged their reputation."
"That’s brilliant," Abby said, leaning closer to examine the reports.
"Then, I focused on their financial stability," Remo said, pointing to a series of graphs. "I made sure that certain payments were delayed, causing cash flow problems. This was coupled with strategic investments that turned out to be duds, further straining their resources."
Abby looked at him, a mixture of admiration and concern in her eyes. "You really went all out. But won’t this be traced back to us?"
