The Twisted Obsession

Chapter 241: Media

Abby nodded to herself, taking a deep breath. "Okay, let’s do that. I need to control this narrative before it spirals further. And I need to talk to Remo before he finds out from someone else."

"That’s the right move. Be upfront with him. Honesty’s your best play here," Cage advised.

Stepping out of the bedroom, she found Remo in the kitchen, his back turned to her as he made coffee. The normalcy of the scene—Remo standing there, unaware of the brewing storm—tightened the knot in her stomach. She paused at the doorway, watching him for a moment, gathering her courage.

"Remo," she began, her voice slightly shaky.

He turned at the sound of her voice, his face lighting up with a smile that faltered when he saw her expression. "Hey, what’s wrong?" he asked, immediately alert.

Abby took a deep breath, closing the distance between them. "We need to talk. Something happened yesterday... something that might upset you, and I want you to hear it from me first," she said earnestly.

Remo’s brow furrowed in concern, and he set down his coffee cup, turning to give her his full attention. "What is it, Abby?"

"It’s about Alex," she began, the words heavy on her tongue. "I ran into him yesterday while I was out. It was completely unexpected, and I didn’t think much of it at the time, but... someone took photos of us together."

Remo’s expression hardened slightly. "Photos? What kind of photos?"
