The Twisted Obsession

Chapter 192: Orgasm and insomnia

Abby lay in bed, the soft glow of the moon filtering through the curtains casting gentle shadows across the room. The bed felt empty without Remo beside her. He had been gone for only a few days, yet the absence seemed to stretch on endlessly in the silence of the night.

She tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position, but her mind kept drifting back to him. She missed the sound of his laughter, the warmth of his embrace, the way he would wrap his arms around her and pull her close.

Closing her eyes, she could almost feel his presence beside her, his steady breaths and the rhythmic beat of his heart. But it was only a memory, a faint echo of the real thing.

Should she call him? The thought crossed her mind more than once. She reached for her phone, her finger hovering over the call button. But then she hesitated. Would she be disturbing him? He was on a business trip, after all. Maybe he needed his rest.

Yet the ache in her heart persisted, a longing that refused to be ignored. She wanted to hear his voice, to know that he was thinking of her too. With a sigh, she set the phone back down on the nightstand, deciding to wait a little longer.

Minutes turned into hours as she lay there in the darkness, the only sound the soft ticking of the clock on the wall. She tried to push away the thoughts of him, to focus on something else, anything else. But it was no use.

In the end, she couldn’t resist the pull any longer. With a resigned sigh, she picked up her phone once more and dialed his number, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for him to pick up.

"Hello?" His voice was sleep-laden, but there was a warmth to it that eased the ache in her heart.

"Hi, Remo," she said softly, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I couldn’t sleep."
