Chapter 174: Let him go
As Remo and Abby chatted, a woman approached their table with a confident stride. Her heels clicked against the tiled floor. She wore a form-fitting dress that accentuated her curves, and her glossy hair cascaded down her shoulders in loose waves. With a coy smile, she directed her focus solely on Remo, completely ignoring Abby’s presence
"Hey there," she purred, leaning in towards Remo, her lips curled into a suggestive smile.
Remo glanced up, his expression cool and detached. "Can I help you with something?"
Ignoring the frostiness in Remo’s tone, the woman disregarded Abby entirely. "I couldn’t help but notice you sitting here all alone," she said, tracing a finger along Remo’s forearm. "Mind if I join you?"
Abby’s patience wore thin as she watched the woman’s blatant flirtation. "Actually, he’s not alone," she interjected, her voice sharp with annoyance. "And he’s definitely not interested in the likes of you."
The woman turned to Abby, her smile faltering for a moment before she regained her composure. "Oh, I see. But sweetie, I wasn’t talking to you," she said dismissively, turning her attention back to Remo.
Remo’s jaw tightened as he pulled his arm away from her touch. "I’m not interested," he stated firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Undeterred, the woman leaned in closer, her perfume overpowering. "Come on, don’t be shy," she whispered, reaching out to touch Remo’s cheek.
Abby’s patience snapped. With a swift motion, she grabbed the woman’s hand, squeezing it tightly. "I said he’s not interested," she spat, her voice laced with venom. "And if you don’t leave us alone right now, I’ll make sure you regret ever approaching us."
