Chapter 65: What do you miss
Remo’s grin widened, his eyes alight with mischief as he watched Abby squirm under his teasing gaze. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered, "I think I have an idea of what you mean, Abby."
Her heart fluttered at the intimate proximity, her pulse quickening with each passing moment. She could feel the heat of his body against hers, igniting a fire deep within her core.
With a soft chuckle, Remo gently brushed his lips against her cheek, sending a jolt of electricity through her entire being. "But it’s fun watching you try to explain," he teased, his voice a husky whisper that sent shivers down her spine. He hovered over her a smug on his lip.
Abby was sure her whole face was burning as she moved her hand to rest against his chest as he leaned above her on his elbow. Avoiding his eyes again, she focused on her hand and started to trace her fingers around the various inked pictures decorating his skin. He had removed his shirt to sleep and she needed a distraction to stop her heart from running a thousand miles per beat.
The muscles in his chest twitched as she feathered her fingers over them, watching his breathing get heavier as his fingers gripped tighter into her skin. He slotted his leg further between hers, tugging her closer again until her leg was hooked over his hip and his thigh was resting dangerously close to her center.
"I never knew my tattoos were that interesting. You like them?"
Abby’s fingers paused their movements and she looked at him. It was a very big mistake . The look in his eyes was enough to make her speechless.
"Huh?" She blinked, her mind too fogged to think of an answer.
Remo chuckled, "What have you been thinking about , hmm?" His warm breath caressed her lips, his words slightly muffled as he trailed teasing kisses along her jawline towards her neck. "Share with me, my dear. What’s been occupying your thoughts?"
