The car pulled up to a lively diner, its neon sign flickering invitingly. Remo held the door open for Abby as they stepped inside, the comforting aroma of sizzling burgers and the buzz of conversation enveloping them.
They found a cozy booth near the window, the sunlight streaming in, bathing them in its gentle warmth. Remo slid into the seat opposite Abby, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
A friendly waitress approached, her pad and pen poised expectantly. "What can I get for you folks today?"
Abby’s mouth watered at the thought of sinking her teeth into a juicy burger piled high with all the fixings. "I’ll have a classic cheeseburger with extra pickles, please. And a side of crispy fries."
Remo’s order mirrored Abby’s, his grin widening as he added, "And two large chocolate milkshakes to wash it all down."
