Chapter 348: Like A Sulking Cat
"No?" Ivan blinked stupefyingly at her refusal. He clearly hadn’t expected it. He knew she wanted it as much as him, he could sense it, it was part of their bonding, but still, he couldn’t help but be taken aback by her refusal.
"Why?" He asked.
"Hmph! Cause I don’t want to." Came her subtle retort, but she made no further explanation. "We have a lot to do tomorrow, we still need to find Carmela, so get some sleep instead."
"I don’t want to sleep."
"Then gaze at the tent’s ceiling till you do, it helps one fall asleep sooner than you think. I’m really sleepy tonight so goodnight." she yawned and shifted, causing her hips to lift slightly. That action sent her ass rising in the process, and the shirt that barely covered her flawless thighs had Ivan swallowing hard.
So much has happened after their first night together, and all he wanted was to rekindle those feelings, but here she was, heartlessly taunting him.
Understanding the fact that this stubborn woman won’t tell him the reason, he tried to guess it himself. Everything had gone so well today, they never fought or had any misunderstandings, so could that mean she was holding a personal grudge with him? A grudge that has nothing to do with today? No matter how hard he tried to guess his mistake, he couldn’t pinpoint exactly what he had done.
The sudden shift of his wife’s body made his eyes regretfully glance her way, and she was completely facing the other side now. Her hair was sprawled over the bedspread, and her womanly figure only made matters worse. Maybe if she hadn’t worn his shirt alone, he would have been able to muster some restraint for the night, but not this night, cause he needed her, he needed her so badly he was willing to answer to her every beck and call.
"Can you at least tell me what I did wrong?" He tried to drive away that sleep from her eyes with a little coaxing. Noway he would let her sleep while he was suffering here like this.
