Chapter 346: Getting Rid Of The Bad Eggs
The elves who remained in their home watched in awe as the golden-blonde-haired lady took down a few of Carmela’s knights herself. According to the rumors, she had killed the eleven councils using a sword made from her vines, some said her eyes were pitch black, reminiscent to that of an inescapable abyss, while others informed them about the ominous change of her vines, but from what they were seeing, and what they sensed, her powers were rather conflicted.
The elf children had their eyes wide open, as it is their first time witnessing a female take control. In their little community, their females were very-well pampered, so they weren’t allowed to raise weapons or use their magic for violent means, but after watching Samantha’s display of powers, they too wanted to be just like her.
"So cool!" One of the female children said with enthusiasm, but her mother was quick to cover her eyes and pull her away from what was happening outside.
Brian had been of great assistance, but aside from the trespassers who managed to slip through the barrier, it was completely silent on the outside.
"Release us!!" One of the knights yelled in fury as Samantha’s vine hoisted him up by his feet, leaving him dangling helplessly upside down. "The fuck are this things?? Hey! Don’t think your little trickery can scare me! If you want an easy death then you better listen and–"
The Knight’s words were cut short when the ground suddenly trembled, and he let out what sounded like a girly scream when a chomper plant emerged malevolently from below. He no longer made efforts to free himself from the vine and chose to climb it instead, saving himself from those razor sharp teeth that snapped violently in his direction.
"How many evil plants do you control?" Brian was at a loss for words, but Samantha didn’t think her baby plants were evil at all. She moved towards her pet chomper and gave its stem a loving pat, easing the hungry-looking plant that just wanted to devour the knight that folded himself against the vines that kept him hoisted up.
"Get that thing away from me!!!" The frightened knight glanced in the direction of Samantha who was able to soothe her pet chomper. She turned deaf ears to the knight’s indirect plea, her anger for what they had done overshadowing the mercy in her heart. It was a strange feeling, quite peculiar, or should she call it malice?
"You see, this is a new plant of mine. It has been waiting to seek revenge for all the plants you killed during my escape with the boat. Do you recall? At dawn, when you and your fellow knights sliced through my baby chompers? This little guy here has been waiting for a day like this. It’s equally very hungry too." Samantha continued to stroke the plant’s gigantic stem, as if she was taming an angry wolf.
