Chapter 69: Informing The Authorities
"Please have a seat, the young Lord will join you shortly." Frederick politely said to Klaus who was being ushered into their living room so he could get comfortable. Klaus remained silent as he stepped into the warmth of their living room, but he didn’t bother to have his seat like Frederick requested.
His eyes scanned the beauty of the spacious living room and a surge of memory rummaged through his mind as he recalled his times here. Gone are those days when he visited the mansion frequently to come hang out with Cas.
"Shall I offer you some chamomile tea while you wait?"
"That won’t be necessary." Klaus smiled at the butler who wasn’t very excited to see Klaus Winchester in the mansion. "I won’t be staying for long." He informed Frederick. "There’s just something very confidential that I need to settle with your Lord and...."
"Refusing tea from a kind butler like Frederick, don’t be rude Klaus." Cassian’s reprimanding, yet mocking tone made their head turn to the direction of the stairs.
The young lad was unhurriedly making his way down the long stairs, and both Frederick and Klaus blinked shockingly at how he could walk so freely with a blindfold on.
"Lord Cassian." Frederick hurried to his side to assist him down the stairs, but Cassian politely refused his help since his senses were already doing the job of detecting which part he should follow.
"Cas?" Klaus blinked in astonishment as his eyes raked the young lad from head to toe..
"Hmn... I can tell you must look thin, did you miss me?" Cassian flashed a cheeky smile at Klaus who had indeed grown thin but for different obvious reasons that were not news to Cassian anymore.
