Chapter 265: Li Beichen; Arrested
"Why do you keep staring at me that way? Can’t you give an answer? I was the one who took you in when nobody wanted you, this is how you repay me, I should have known that you are an ungrateful person," Li Beichen scoffed at Wu Tang who did not give any reaction.
This lack of reaction annoyed Li Beichen as he yelled, "at least give a reaction to what I am saying, don’t make it seem like I am speaking with a block of wood."
Wu Tang finally gave him a glance.
"Are you sure you took me in because you felt pity for me?" Wu Tang asked, shaking his head at Li Beichen.
"What did you mean by that?" Li Beichen asked, his expression changing rapidly.
"I believe you understand what I am talking about, do not try to play smart with me," Wu Tang sneered, warning Li Beichen as well.
"Heh," Li Beichen spat slowly.
"You have quite adapted to the ways of men, not bad, not bad at all, you were late to catch on, but better late than never," Li Beichen spoke mysteriously, his words only understandable to him.
The other two men gave him a look of confusion as his words left them at a loss on what to think.
