As Zhang Bo was lost in thought, they heard the siren’s sound, which signified that the Police had arrived.
Zhang Luiying gave the exhausted Zhang Bo a glance.
"The Police have arrived, would you turn yourself in?" Zhang Luiying asked the older man.
"Even if I do not turn myself in, you still have a way to send me to jail, so it is best I turn myself in, I will have the same ending regardless," Zhang Bo replied, and one could hear the sound of defeat in his voice.
"Good that you are self-aware," Zhang Luiying snorted, finding him to be an eyesore.
"Someone sent for the Police, who was that?" The chief officer asked as soon as he stepped into the living room.
They had beaten the guards who did not want to give them entry into the mansion.
"I did, Officer, that is the man, he is the mastermind behind the crimes of which I have sent the evidence to you," Zhang Luiying replied to the officer, pointing at Zhang Bo.
"Mr. Zhang, you are under arrest," The chief officer did not mince his words as he stared at the man who he had once held in high regard.
"Take me officers, I have gone against the law, but since I am going down, I won’t be going down alone," Zhang Bo shouted as he picked up the gun which was beside him.
