Minutes turned into hours, but nobody could find Gu Shishi.
Gu Guan and Gu Fen returned to Gu’s home feeling distraught.
"Were you able to find her?" Grandma Gu asked once they stepped into the house.
Gu Fen shook her head negatively as she collapsed to the bed.
"I could not find her, I asked everyone, but they could not tell me where she was, I called her, she picked, but she did not tell me her exact location before she ended the call, we tried calling her again, but her phone was switched off," Gu Fen explained.
Gu Guan, on the other hand, stood to the side. He kept blaming himself. If he had not said what he had said earlier on, probably Gu Shishi would be with them.
He had not understood her feelings, and this caused this mess.
"She will be fine, I know she will," Grandma Gu assured, more like assuring herself.
"I will be in my room, don’t ask me to come down if she has not arrived, I also won’t be having any meal till she returns, so you need to find her at once," Grandma Gu instructed, gesturing for Grandpa Gu to help her to the room.
