"Alright, that’s enough, we have delivered the cards, can we go now?" Wu Tang asked. He felt the same way Tang Mei felt, only, he was able to control it.
"What gifts do you want delivered to your wedding? We will be sure to give it to you," Xin Yan asked. She was in a good mood to tease them.
Tang Mei looked at Xin Yan, her eyes flaring with intense rage.
"We do not need gifts, you do not bother with your fake sincerity," Tang Mei spat out, whereas, Xin Yan chuckled, happy that she had been able to get under her skin.
"We will be leaving now, Tang Mei, let’s leave," Wu Tang gently said to her.
If Xin Yan and Li Qiang were not aware of his true nature, they would have been deceived by his gentleness. Wu Tang was anything but gentle and kind.
"We will not be seeing you off," Xin Yan commented as Wu Tang and Tang Mei rose to their feet.
They snapped their heads towards her, appalled by the innocent smile on her face.
Tang Mei was about to snap, but Wu Tang was quick to pull her away as they quickly exited the mansion.
Seeing both of them leave the mansion, Li Qiang and Xin Yan burst into laughter.
