"You can do whatever you want, but I have a question, do you really want to push through with your plans?" Li Qiang asked, and one was able to detect the worry in his voice.
Xin Yan looked at him, the feeling of confusion was overwhelming in her eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" She questioned.
"Do you need to sacrifice yourself to bring her down? I have every means to send her to jail, or I will send her out of the country, preventing her from ever returning," Li Qiang proposed several suggestions to her.
For some reason, he had a bad feeling about her plans, and he only wanted her to be safe.
Xin Yan shook her head, "as you said earlier on, this is my battle, I should be the one to do this, you have helped me a lot and I feel ashamed since I have not really done anything since I was reborn, allow me to do this little thing, I would feel some sense of achievement," she pleaded, with puffy eyes.
Li Qiang looked at her, but he was still not convinced. His mind was telling him one thing, his heart was telling him the other.
He should follow his guts and instincts, right? But as he gazed straight into her eyes, he lost his willpower. Her eyes have always been his weakness, no one knew about this little piece of information.
"Fine, but you have to promise to be safe, you also need to run out in case you notice anything strange, remember, your health and wellbeing is more important than your revenge," he gave her series of advice to which she nodded to, albeit impatiently.
"Do not nod your head only, show that you have understood," Li Qiang knew what sort of person she was, and therefore he warned her again.
"I understand what you are trying to say, you sound like a nagging father," she complained, and he could only stare at her, feeling speechless.
