"You wanted to confess on a larger scale?" He questioned, his heart pounding. He was also angry at himself, he had ruined his surprise.
"Yes, I wanted to act like a man for a change, but you ruined it," she complained, while she glared at him.
"I am sorry, I know I am at fault," he apologized almost immediately and Xin Yan had no reason to remain angry with him.
"It is alright," she scoffed quietly before looking out the window.
Li Qiang watched the little woman who was throwing a tantrum and he could not help but laugh, albeit quietly for fear of annoying her.
Minutes later, they arrived at the company and Xin Yan sighed heavily. She looked around the company from inside of the car and she frowned, the place looked heavily deserted.
"Why does this place look deserted?" She asked, she was expecting a lot of workers but the reverse was the case.
"The employees are all on a ’break’," Li Qiang replied, laying a huge emphasis on the word, ’break.’
"Oh, that explains it," Xin Yan nodded, understanding what he meant immediately.
Li Qiang beamed, obviously pleased with her smart perception skills. She cut on what he was trying to pass without him needing to explain it to her and it was something he was proud of in her.
"Let us head in, we need to satisfy their needs," Xin Yan was excited, totally different from her earlier nervous self.
