Chapter 100: Li Qiang Finds Out (Unedited)
After they had discussed, they thanked Dr. Song for his help and headed home for lunch.
Once they reached home, Li Chuxi and Meimei were seated on the sofa, waiting for the both of them to return home.
"My babies," she smiled at the both of them with an amiable smile but it faded when she recalled that she had two kids who were waiting for her.
"Mom, what is wrong?" Li Chuxi asked as she stared at her with an observant face.
"Nothing, I just got a fly into my eyes," Xin Yan gave a silly excuse as she turned to look at Li Qiang with a subtle smile. She still could not understand why she was very observant.
Li Chuxi stared at her with a strange look. For the first time since she met her mother, she felt that she was somewhat different.
"Are you sure?" Meimei asked with a frown, she might not be as sensitive as Li Chuxi, but she was also able to tell that there was something wrong with her.
"Everything is fine, do not bother," Xin Yan insisted. She did not want them to be worried about her.
"Have you had lunch?" Xin Yan asked, effectively changing the topic.
"Yes, we have," Meimei answered, feeling hyperactive.
Nothing eventful happened during the rest of the day. The family watched movies all day long before they retired back to their rooms.
